Bill is the unfortunate marsupial who is usually seen scratching nervously around Kajimba like a lost rat. Although he is an adult Bilby, the sheer level of his idiocy leads the locals to treat him like a pet or perhaps an unsung mascot. Bill is always in the wrong place at the wrong time, and is very likely the one to catch the mail plane's cargo drop or chew his way through a live power cord. Grogan and Cookie never tire of throwing Bill's beloved teddy bear across the highway to wager when he'll be flattened by a passing roadtrain, on his way out or on his tentative journey back. Like most bilbies, Bill is a sensitive soul and his share of bad luck does weigh heavily on his nervous system. Noelene does have a soft spot for him and after the many disasters, she can usually revive him with a couple stiff tonics of her own design. One does wonder however whether his idiocy is born from the vacuum between his ears or the effects of Noelene's multiple emergency revivals. At the best of times he's a few cans short of a six pack, but during Bilby Mating Season, Bill's raging hormones combined with his now-public virginity compresses poor Bill's mental capacity into rarely-seen levels of galactic stupidity, providing a whole shed load of laughs for the Kajimba locals.
